The Holocaust happened.
Hitler was a demonic figure.
And instead of giving it a platform, our political leaders should be calling out and rejecting antisemitism wherever it hides.
Silence is complicity.
Michael @vtfpr_commish has been a champion for Vermont’s forests and a good partner with @VNRCorg. He will leave behind a department that is much stronger than it was 12 years ago. We wish him the very best in his future endeavors.

@MiroBTV’s comments at @GovPhilScott’s presser today re: S234 - a bill to facilitate housing in smart growth locations, promote forests and the forest products industries, and make Act 250 more efficient and predictable - were hyperbolic and untethered from reality. Very strange.
Jon is right, and the VT House agreed. Today they voted 99-43 to pass comprehensive changes to promote affordable housing and smart growth, protect forests and wildlife habitat, support the forest products industry, and restore oversight of the Act 250 program. Congrats!
Glad to be a partner with PPNNE. VNRC cares about both environmental health AND human health, and I personally appreciate that they look out for the health care choices of Vermont women in the face such an unprecedented assault on the rights of the nations women.

Splitting oversight of pollution prevention programs between two agencies, including one (VT Agency of Agriculture) that refuses to follow the rules, undermines farmers and water quality. A clean water agenda and a working lands agenda are not mutually exclusive.
This week, a coalition of environmental groups asked the EPA to step in and fix Vermont’s clean water enforcement challenges. Our farmers are not being supported with consistent & clear guidance on how to address water pollution issues. Read more here: https://t.co/cAMYgS4hWk
During his inaugural address in 2019, Zelensky told lawmakers: “I do not want my picture in your offices: the President is not an icon, an idol or a portrait. Hang your kids' photos instead, and look at them each time you are making a decision.”
