Please @eddykenzoficial , some of your federation artists are so arrogant. You personally witnessed this yesterday while at parliament when @Ksheebah1, @lmbabazi and @Kansiime256 insulted journalists. Please, I humbly request you as their head to intervene
Hello Comrades,
I greet you all in the name of the almighty.
History was made when I and my team of the @unmfederationug knocked on the @Parliament_Ug to physically find out what's happening on the process of amendment of our Copyright law and physically deliver a petition seeking to address more issues we feel pertinent to our works for inclusion in the amendment.
We were gladly received by the Deputy Speaker of Parliament Rt Hon. @Thomas_Tayebwa at his Chambers and we handed him the petition which he immediately allocated to Hon. @PNyamutoro the National Female Youth Member of Parliament.
After a brief at the Chambers, the Deputy Speaker led us to the VIP gallery of Parliament to witness the afternoon session of Parliament.
At the Plenary of Parliament presided over by Rt Hon Thomas Tayebwa, the Speaker introduced to the members our presence in the gallery amidst wild cheers from the House all present members of Parliament. Music unites them all👏🏿
The Speaker amended the Order Paper to accommodate our petition and in addition a list of petitioners were ready out to the house amidst Parliamentarians approval.
Our Petition was read on the Floor of Parliament by Hon Phiona Nyamutoro and the Speaker sought to Understand why the bill had delayed.
The Speaker tasked the Attorney general to clarify to which he submitted that the act was at the Attorney general's chambers for more consultations.
The Speaker was disappointed with the delay and directed the Parliament Committee of ICT and national guidance to immediately address the petition and gave timelines of 30 days to have the bill on the flow of Parliament.

Artists, who told you that every Journalist is broke? I saw @Ksheebah1 attacking @SeguyaJoseph over wealth. Some of us are wealthier than 70% of the artists. We drive well, sleep well and travel well more than these artists. Many are dating sugar daddies to survive. Stop this 🙏
