Finally getting caught up on our Kids Heart Challenge prizes. Highest fundraiser in each grade gets to plan and teach a PE lesson. This student absolutely shined and loved it! Great work Ms. J!

This student of mine found out we shared the same birthday a couple weeks ago. She kept it a secret the entire time. We were excited to get a birthday twin picture together. I will let you decide who is older. #whatmadeyourweek

Jersey day today at school. Had to represent the home state. @JJWatt were you any good at football? Kids keep asking.

Working on math and volleying skills at same time.
-Roll dice inside hula hoop
-Add up total number of all spots (count dots if needed)
-Do that many number of volleys without object touching ground. If touches start back at zero
*Reroll when complete number of volley hits need

Striving to make teachers understand what we exactly do in PE each today. I always welcome teachers to come join their class whenever they want. Today a teacher took advantage of this and joined her class!

As a teacher I always try to
promote an inclusive learning environment. These 2 girls go above and beyond to make sure students of all abilities are feeling included. So proud of these students and all my students!

This is how we roll! Wrapped up our gymnastics/tumbling unit this week. I was so impressed with all the effort students gave. Keep up the great work! After seeing this kindergartner do backward rolls I think we may have the next Olympic gold medalist in class.

What made your week? This made mine. Finally after weeks of coordination this 2nd grade and I matched shoes. We have really connected over our interest in shoes this year. Glad I have students like this to explain my shoe collection addiction to @katesailors. Love my students. 💚

These students have been stepping up as leaders in PE. Constantly going above and beyond. So happy to have them in class and all the positive energy they bring with them. Keep up the great work! A goal of mine is to share more of what we do in PE this year

One of every students core memories from PE is using the parachute. For bonus PE this week the parachute was brought out. Had a brave student suggest having dance party under parachute. Some brave students showed us their dance moves! So proud of you all! 💚

It was a foot skills Friday today with some hula hoop foot passing challenges. Hula hoops makes it more important to use inside of your foot when kicking which we emphasize in soccer. This student was brave enough to suggest some very creative challenges. Great work first grade!
