One of the biggest tragedies of Ontario's COVID-19 response is that it has always taken significant crises, suffering & death for our government to follow the science & even consider doing the right thing.

Why does it have to be this way?

@sproudfoot Unless respondents are also in the thick of making 1 million snacks/day, 3 meals, conf calls, deadlines, tears & tantrums - while bribing kids to learn online - they don't get a say. My kids need other kids and the park ain't cutting it. School is essential for so many reasons.

@grantpoirier @l_stone This is completely unfair for those children that need programming NOW. What about the kids who cannot afford sports, camp, overnight camp? Kids should not be out of school so that the rest of us can go to Home Depot a few weeks early. #kidsdeserveit
