@Masterofwhine Everybody couldn't have been more gracious when we visited not too long ago. They would let me try to speak French until I got stuck, also. Who knew the 4 yrs of HS French slip away by middle age?
@AlCimaglia Can't imagine they expected a ton when they got him for a contract that was bought out. Seemed okay at the time. Get above the salary floor, plus a real scratch off ticket. Sometimes these pay off, sometimes they don't. Worked in the case of Dickinson and Mikheyev.
@AlCimaglia Cap hit would be $3 mill next yr and $1.25 mill the yr after. They bought out Brodie last summer, though there was very little cap savings there. Sometimes buyouts have to happen regardless.
@AlCimaglia Given we are in the period between deadline and new prospects arriving, I still believe it was right to exhaust or uncover the trade possibilities. They aren't going anywhere regardless of if or where Burakovsky plays. I don't expect him to stay there once the prospects arrive.
@Carebearkill3r@ClueHeywood As Bayless has said, people who open up spots in Chicago have more license to make the dishes from their home provinces, instead of doing it as it's always been done in a given border state. As a result, tons of variety here. Just not so much in River North or Naperville.
@Carebearkill3r@ClueHeywood There are many spots in Phoenix that cater to that same palate and to the Margaritaville crowd, too. They vacation there and they move there, after all. Thankfully Phoenix has a lot more to offer than those places.
