A short 🧵:
TLDR version - Josh Katcher says I’m lying about the cases I highlighted in my article last week.

A few days ago, I posted an article outlining my experience with Josh Katcher.  Josh is running for CA in Arlington Co.

@DCTravelingFam Feel free to DM me

Josh - as an officer of the court and a member of the Virginia State Bar, you have an ethical duty of candor to the public you serve, and as a candidate for the top law enforcement job in the county, I would hope you would also have moral duty to be honest.

So, since he (once again) is making decisions but hiding from the consequences, I'm going to do it for him:  I am calling on Josh Katcher to publicly respond to my post and either list the errors or inaccuracies in the article, or issue a public apology.

This year’s #Arlington #Commonwealth Attorney race is incredibly important. I have worked with both candidates - and for me, the choice is clear.

Rosewood, Florida was a thriving town with a bustling economy. The population was 95% black and most of its residents owned their owned homes and businesses.

That was until a married white woman slept with a man who wasn’t her husband, and told the town it was a “nigger”. #BHM

Cops try to cover up for fellow officer who assaulted a man because his daughter dropped a bag of candy in the street,

One of the responding officers says “cop or not, we’re gonna have a problem because it’s on video”

As folks are being asked to consider the future of Arlington County’s criminal justice system, it is worthwhile to remember where we were 3 years ago, and what has changed since then.

In sum, we were in the dark ages, and we’ve made a TON of progress.

@BradleyRHaywood And I can’t think of a better way to show how out of touch they are than to have them try to stand in the way of a coalition working for improvements. “Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never has and it never will.” -Frederick Douglass

On a day when many bad things may be possible, it is important to still find the joy.
