Carteret-Craven Electric Co-op reports that as of 7:50 a.m. Monday, power has been restored to all but 487 of approximately 4,000 customers affected by a power outage in Emerald Isle and Pine Knoll Shores. As of this time, the company has not said what caused the outage.
