First time I saw THE HOUSE OF THE DEVIL, I was stoned in my dorm room. During the opening credits montage, I thought the campus looked familiar, but that it must be some other New England school.
Then I watched her walk directly past the dorm I was watching the film from.
James lived in the same town as me, so he kinda just became a guy I’d see at the grocery store or at the ice cream shop with his kids, making this hit much harder than I expected it to.
