The name Benjamin O. Davis refers to two historic, trailblazing African American military officers: Benjamin O. Davis Sr., the first Black general in the U.S. Army, and his son, Benjamin O. Davis Jr., the first Black general in the U.S. Air Force and commander of the Tuskegee Airmen. Together, this father and son duo played a vital role in breaking racial barriers and pushing for the complete integration of the United States Armed Forces
@brysongray In every instance of multiple wives to a husband calamity and sorrow was produced. The blessings of the Lord add no sorrow fam! Multiple wives bring about the opposite.

If you're wondering how the "race-baiters" are going to make the SCOTUS ruling about racism, well...
Here's what the Trump decision has to do with the history of white supremacy, racial terrorism and even the death of George Floyd.
A thread.
@STOPPLAYIN336@BlackPolygamy The problem with polygamy recorded in the Bible is that many ignore the repercussions from those polygamous marriages- ALL of them. Yes read beyond the verse that says it happened. You may not go to hell but you also disqualify yourself from the fullness of His blessings.
SHOT IN THE HEAD FOR PREACHING THE GOSPEL IN AMERICA 🇺🇸
26-year-old Christian preacher Hans Schmidt was shot in the head while standing on a corner in Glendale, Arizona, encouraging people to attend an evening service and hear the Gospel at his church, Victory Chapel. Hans is a veteran with a wife and two children and is currently clinging to life.
Even before some coward pulled the trigger, passersby say Hans was enduring shrieks and curses in his direction. These eyewitnesses also say that, following Christ's example, he never raised a fist or uttered a word against those who insulted him.
Please pray for Hans.
@charliekirk11
Let me say something about the $6 billion dollars right wing media is busy spreading disinformation about:
1. That money wasn't OUR money. None of it was taxpayer money, not a single penny. It was Iran's money that had been frozen and released.
2. That money is currently in a bank account in Qatar. It's not like the mullahs are rolling around in Scrooge McDuck money baths.
3. The $6 billion in released funds can only be used by Iran for humanitarian purposes, like food and medicine, and it's being closely monitored.
4. If Iran tries to use that money for anything other than humanitarian purposes, the United States will freeze the money again.
Let's set the record straight.
Repost this like crazy.
Martin Luther once said that a theologian is made by three things:
1. Oratio (Prayer)
2. Meditatio (Reflection/Meditation)
3. Tentatio (Suffering and Affliction)
The first two of these, prayer and meditation, are the duty and delight of the children of God. Christians are all theologians, by the way, for we all think and speak of the Lord.
Through the day, we pray “Lord have mercy,” “God help me,” and “Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner.” We pray the Lord’s Prayer. We pray the Psalms. We speak to our Father, through Jesus, in the Holy Spirit.
We also reflect upon the Word of God. We read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest the Scriptures. We muse on the divine promises.
And the third, tentatio? Suffering? We neither pursue nor ask for suffering. As martyrdom is not sought but received, should it come, so with suffering under the cross. God will see to that. Whatever pain he allows to enter our lives, he will use that for shaping us into theologians of the cross. As the Psalmist says, “It is good for me that I was afflicted, that I may learn your statutes” (119:71).
So, let us pray, let us meditate, and when affliction comes, let us know that our Lord is making us less that he might place more of himself within us.
