I know some won’t like to hear this, but Hyperliquid today proved that regulatory arbitrage is one of the biggest bull cases in crypto.
What they built simply wouldn’t have been possible outside of this industry, neither from a capital nor a regulatory perspective.
Obviously this assumes you have no shady intentions and act in good faith, but they were willing to take on the risk for a vision they believed in, against every headwind you could possibly imagine.
They shipped something with real value and a real value proposition that people actually wanted, and crypto rails and a community first approach let them scale it into a monster far faster than would have been possible anywhere else, until they were simply too big to ignore.
First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.
Today the President of the United States announced they’re working very hard on bringing Hyperliquid onshore to the US.
An incredible success story that genuinely warms my heart as someone who’s given everything to this industry for almost a decade. And I believe this is just one of the first of many examples yet to come. There’s a massive wave of embracement and adoption ahead of us, especially for DeFi and tokenization.
Congrats for surviving chads, we’re about to get started.
Hyperliquid.
A hill I will die on: lots of people suffer from mental health issues bc no one forced them to struggle enough growing up. Struggle builds resilience and is great for you. Life can’t be too easy or every mole hill becomes a mountain.
Most people find out that buying expensive shit doesn't increase happiness at all.
To test it, try your dream car, buy expensive gadgets, see how you feel, and then consider if it was worth it afterward.
Want a Patek or AP? Go for it. If you don't like them, just sell them. It's not like they lose 100% of their value overnight. Low-risk investment, and you can see if status items are something for you.
But with that said. No matter how wealthy you are, death is inevitable. Thus, the only limited resource you have is time. Invest money to purchase time. Use money to run experiments. Invest money to improve your quality of life.
4 supplements I'm getting my aging parents to take:
1. Creatine. You should take it, your friends should take it, your parents should take it. 5g a day, forever. No loading phase needed.
@ausbtcclub For home loans there are no covenants.
Therefore, there usually needs to be a monetary default before the Bank can go down recovery path.
They will also need to formally write you to inform and also seek alternative arrangements (via hardship) etc before hand.
Ive said it to people around me for months, but the health impact of different types od light is the next thing the world will wake up to. Very underrated right now.
Bit of sunlight on body, bunch of red light spectrums, blue in places like mouthguards for microbiome effects, Im reading up on new research on green light, and I stay the hell away from those disgusting bright fluorescents at night in the streets in some cities (Singapore needs to catch up here). Soft yellow light on the street is super underrated, loved seeing it in Switzerland.
