The types people who are leaving are the people who create jobs...so it becomes a case of "the more people who leave, the fewer people around to create jobs" if 1000 people could employ on average 5 people each, that's 5000 jobs lost.

@J9_Osborne I am not an expert on it... But I would think yes, as they created it and they would need to cover themselves if needed should any disputes arise. In the same way that an employer owns employee records after they leave a company, they are required to by law.

@J9_Osborne As far as I understand, the medical practice is required to keep records for all patients treated. When I requested mine from the medical practice, they said that they could give me a copy which I took with me to my new practice when I moved.
