🔵🚨 Chelsea's Instagram account was raided by Kazakhstan citizens after 17-year-old player, Dastan Satpaev scored on his debut.

This fixture can easily turn into a cagey, low-scoring grind, but Juve’s defensive resilience combined with their individual attacking brilliance gives them the definite edge to squeeze out a win.

🚨🔵 John Terry on the cup tie:

Anfield is never easy, and without Palmer it is harder. Chelsea still have Rogers, Neto and options off the bench. They have to show the same fight they showed in the better games this season.

🚨🗣️Thierry Henry on Joao Pedro:

Joao Pedro moves like a player who understands the game at a high level. His intelligence off the ball and composure in front of goal remind me of top strikers I’ve seen.

🚨🔵 Xabi Alonso on Cole Palmer:

Cole has to learn from the red card. He is important, but the team has to show it can compete without him at Anfield. That is the challenge now.

🚨🔵 Xabi Alonso talking about the Liverpool game on Anfield:

We go to Liverpool with a different group. Palmer is out, some players are returning. The demand is the same, compete for the full game and take our chance in the cup.

Cagliari will try to make this a physical, low-scoring battle, but Roma’s attacking depth and sharp home form will be far too much for their backline to absorb.

[Chelsea FC @ChelseaFC]

Attention turns to the Carabao Cup. 👊

🚨🔵 Frank Lampard on Levi Colwill:

Colwill tried to organise, but the own goal and the red card left the defence exposed. Leadership only works if the rest of the team stays focused.

🚨🗣️ Peter Crouch on the back line:

They kept it tight for a long time and then switched off. One mistake from a set-piece and the game was gone. That concentration has to be better.

[Bridge Codex @bridgecodex]

🚨🗣️John Terry on Xabi Alonso:

Alonso has had good results and then a night like this. The test now is how quickly he gets a response against Liverpool.

[Bridge Codex @bridgecodex]

🚨🔵 Didier Drogba on Joao Pedro:

Pedro gives the attack a body and a finisher. When he is leading the line, Rogers and Palmer have a clear target to play off.

[Bridge Codex @bridgecodex]

Lyon might show up with plenty of intensity early on, but PSG's absolute dominance in possession and home-field superiority will quickly put this game out of reach.

[Bridge Codex @bridgecodex]

🚨🔵 Joe Cole on the front line:

Without Joao Pedro and then without Palmer, the attack looked short of ideas. Rogers and Neto still tried, but the spark was missing for long periods.

[Bridge Codex @bridgecodex]

🚨🔵 Thierry Henry on Cole Palmer:

Palmer’s quality is obvious, but the second yellow was unnecessary. Chelsea needed him on the pitch. That red card changed the game.

[Bridge Codex @bridgecodex]

🚨🔵 Petr Cech on Mike Penders:

Penders was thrown into a full debut against Tottenham and the corner went wrong. Young keepers learn from those moments, but the cost was a goal and a result.

[Bridge Codex @bridgecodex]

🚨🔵 John Terry on the Tottenham defeat:

Chelsea looked flat for long periods and then handed Tottenham the game. A home defeat like that, with a red card and an own goal, is hard to swallow.

[Bridge Codex @bridgecodex]

Madrid will try to exploit the wings, but Barca’s high-pressing system and attacking fluency at home will completely suffocate their build-up play. Big win incoming tomorrow. ⚽🔥

🚨🔵 Cole Palmer on Xabi Alonso:

He wanted this attack from the start and he has been clear about the standard. Against Everton we showed the protection as well. Now we have to do it again.

[Bridge Codex @bridgecodex]

🚨🔵 Xabi Alonso on Palmer, Rogers and Joao Pedro:

From the start of the summer we wanted a top attacking line. We already had two good ones and we added Morgan. That decision is paying off. They are very special together.

[Bridge Codex @bridgecodex]

🚨🔵 Peter Crouch on Xabi Alonso:

Alonso called the front three special and the results are backing him. The next test is whether he can keep the defence as organised as the attack is dangerous.
