@MisterLorde Very sorry for the late reply! We’re hoping for March 25th, just need some positive temps and no more snow ❄️🚫🙏. Hopefully see you in a couple more weeks!
@MisterLorde Hi @MisterLorde ! Right now we’re hoping for the 25th or 26th as a ‘latest possible’ reopening, but we’ll let you know if we’re able to push that back a week or so. Hope you and the family are doing well! 🍦
@chantalegarand I never said this is true for all black business owners, just me. Thank you though, I don’t intend for this to get political. I value your opinion, I am just relating my own experience because I feel it’s applicable to the original comment that was made.
@chantalegarand I personally don’t feel the issues can be painted with such broad strokes. I don’t feel privilege here necessarily looks the same as privilege in the US. Same goes for being a black business owner here vs elsewhere. The original tweet makes claim that...
@chantalegarand Privelege, as a white business owner, is being able to call the police without fear of their own safety. As a black business owner in the same city with an otherwise identical experience, I am saying that I also don’t fear my safety calling the police after I’ve been broken into.
@OhDoughnuts@ChefAlex@brent_bellamy Not trying to start a war here... we are fans of yours... but you kinda did say we weren’t wearing masks inside the building which is not true. But here it is again:
@OhDoughnuts@ChefAlex@brent_bellamy All staff, both inside and outside of the building, were wearing masks. The idea behind this was to increase safety. The owner of BDI is an NP & frontline worker. Very disappointing to see such misinformation spread on Twitter
@OhDoughnuts @realpdbroadfoot @ChefAlex@brent_bellamy Size of the Winnipeg’s smallest Costco’s parking lot: 9.9 Acres
Size of our parking lot: 13,000 sqft.
Most people go for ice cream in groups, grocery shopping can be done alone.
While we appreciate the suggestion, this is not the greatest comparison.
