And they're off 🚴 This morning, City Engineer Gary Lee Moore, joined hundreds of cyclists to cross the bridge. Bikes and walkers only today until 4pm and at 7pm, we will officially open the viaduct to cars. Thanks to everyone who made it out to the big weekend!
Los Angeles, The People’s Bridge is now officially open to pedestrians and bicyclists! Walk or bike across to see the spectacular view of your city before it opens to motorists tonight!
#SixthStreetViaduct
The view from the viaduct: freeways and skyscrapers, fancy lofts and rusting warehouses, jails, art, graffiti, palm trees and homeless camps, the mountains and the sea breeze, the grit and beauty of the city in one big sweep. https://t.co/F0uhJGtuWo
