Dyslexia is an invisible language-based learning difficulty that needlessly poses significant challenges within most government-run schools. This stems from a critical gap in educator preparation: most of America’s publicly funded teaching colleges and alternative certification programs fail to adequately equip future teachers with evidence-based methods to teach reading effectively to all students—including those with dyslexia.
Consequently, parent-teacher conferences and/or IEP meetings frequently devolve into tense disputes as parents fight to advocate for their children’s specific needs. They work tirelessly to dispel misconceptions, countering assumptions of laziness or intellectual deficiency, in a bid to secure appropriate support—highlighting the profound emotional toll and systemic obstacles most families face while trying to navigate dyslexia within the government’s failing public education system.
Thankfully President Trump is taking bold steps to eliminate obstacles to high-quality education by dismantling the Department of Education. The next crucial move is for Congress to collaborate with parents of IDEA-eligible students and Secretary McMahon to overhaul Educator Preparation Programs (EPPs) and enshrine Trump’s Executive Orders—along with his education freedom and school choice agenda—into permanent law.
I think this is officially my new favorite video. 💀
The amount of vocal stims this is about to create is genuinely concerning.
“My knees are awesome.”
“What in the 1934 am I looking at?”
“While I’m peeing.”
“Landing strip on your head.”
“Thank you for the walkout being longer than the fight.”
“This little leprechaun.”
“you wasted everyone’s time, it’s pissing me off”
Kells really woke up and chose absolute violence. 😭
mgk doesn't just call his daughter "Princess"—he actually treats her like one. 😌

MGK DAY general information (all from my experience last year and may or may not apply to this year):
-events span the course of 3 days
-main mgk day event was free but required a ticket and was held on the final day (Sunday) This is the large market festival type event that included food and drink tents, merch tents, photo opp tents, a main stage for the free concert, other activity tents and setups; the basketball game for example.)
-additional events held around Cleveland are more exclusive and required a paid ticket (after partys, extra concerts, bar crawls, brunches, 27 club events, FWD nightclub, IVY nightclub, probably Shooters this year, etc)
-schedule last year dropped right before mgk day and misc event tickets all dropped separately and at different times. (Being active on socials the week before mgk day greatly increased chances of scoring tickets to the more limited ticketed events)
-Spot Hero app is a fantastic resource to pre reserve parking for those three days if your hotel is not within walking distance to events. (Most of the events are within walking distance of each other so plan to drive downtown, park and not go back to your car till you’re ready to head back for the day. )
-last year was death hot so be prepared
-27 club line will be around the building ALL weekend pretty much non stop, so plan your events with this in mind.
-Kells will be around all weekend and your chances of seeing him in the wild will be high, please let him be a human and just say hi instead of asking him for something. He’ll be giving all his time to us already this weekend.
-if you are looking to get barricade for the main event Sunday, prepare to arrive extremely early and don’t plan on being able to partake in any other events/tents that festival day.
-Cleveland is an amazing city and stays alive till like 5 AM. We felt safe the entire time.
Feel free to ask any additional questions in the comments or if you have more relevant information or hacks, please also comment.
Hope some of this helps first time attendees! Just know, this weekend is truly magical and will be the time of your life!
(See last year’s schedule below for reference.)
