आज नाशिकमधील तपोवन येथे भेट देऊन पर्यावरण प्रेमी, स्थानिकांशी संवाद साधला. तसेच 'जागरूक नाशिककर नागरिक' व इतर पर्यावरणप्रेमी संघटना, स्थानिकांनी दिलेले निवेदन स्वीकारले.

तपोवन- ‘green zone’ नष्ट करून तेथे 'yellow zone' उभारण्यास पर्यावरण प्रेमींसोबत स्थानिकांचाही स्पष्ट विरोध आहे. भाजपच्या ह्या कारस्थानाविरोधात स्थानिकांमध्ये प्रचंड संताप दिसून येतोय.

विकासाच्या नावाखाली हरित पट्टे नष्ट करायचे आणि बिल्डर काँट्रॅक्टरच्या घशात घालायचे, हा सत्ताधीशांचा डाव आम्ही उधळून लावू!

तसेच तपोवनच्या लढ्यात मी, पक्षप्रमुख मा. श्री उद्धवसाहेब ठाकरे कायम आपल्यासोबत आहे, असे आश्वासनही दिले.

आज नाशिकमधील देवळाली येथे पदाधिकारी संवाद मेळाव्यात उपस्थितांना मार्गदर्शन केले.

भाजपचं जंगलराज, रावणराज हटवून रामराज्य आणण्यासाठी नाशिक महानगरपालिकेवर आपल्याला शिवसेना-उद्धव बाळासाहेब ठाकरे पक्षाचं वर्चस्व राखावंच लागेल.

ह्यावेळी मुंबई महानगरपालिकेप्रमाणेच नाशिक महानगरपालिकेअंतर्गत महत्त्वाचे प्रकल्प राबवण्याचा विचारही व्यक्त केला.

- मुंबईप्रमाणेच नाशिक महानगरपालिकेचे निदान एक मेडिकल कॉलेज पुढच्या पाच वर्षांत करून दाखवायचे आहे.

- नाशिकमध्येही मुंबईप्रमाणेच सीबीएसई, आयसीएसई विनामूल्य गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षण देणाऱ्या शाळा आणायच्या आहेत.

- तपोवनप्रमाणेच मोकळ्या जागा, उद्यान आपल्याला वाढवायची आहेत.

- नाशिकमध्ये मुंबईच्या बेस्टप्रमाणेच बससेवा उपलब्ध करायची आहे.

शुक्रवारी छत्रपती संभाजीनगर येथे भव्य मशाल रॅली काढण्यात आली होती. ह्या रॅलीला झालेली निष्ठावंतांची गर्दी पाहून आपला विजय नक्की आहे, हे स्पष्ट होत होते.

जातपात, धर्म न पाहता आबालवृद्धांची झालेली एकजूटच आपलं बळ आहे. ह्या ताकदीवरच आपण महानगरपालिकेवर भगवा फडकवणार!

The stay order from the Hon’ble Supreme Court for the Aravalli Range is a huge but temporary relief. It’s important to seal this permanently.

This wasn’t possible without the mass movement of citizens in Rajasthan, who showed that what matters is our planet, not the dirty intentions of those wanting to exploit the planet.

I hope that we are able to bring the strongest protection to the Aravalli Range and to nature across the country.

It is also important that we don’t fall prey to the misinformation campaign being run to say that Aravalli Range is safe- it is NOT with the government’s intent to redefine it and sell it off.

It’s good to see another stay from the Hon’ble Supreme Court on the bail of Rape Convict Kuldeep, ex MLA of bjp.

It was truly horrendous and disgusting to see how a rape convict can be let easy by law, and miscarriage of justice.

I hope the Supreme Court ensures the harshest punishment for the rape convict ex mla of bjp- Kuldeep

The suspension of jail term of the Unnao rape convict, ex BJP MLA Kuldeep has sent shock waves across the world.

Furthermore, the way the police manhandled the survivor and her mother for protesting against the rapist, is shocking.

While for the elections, the BJP indulged in slogans like Ladki Bahin and doles out schemes is one thing, the reality is what happened with the survivor and those protesting against the suspension of the jail term for the convict.

While countries and people around the world will have watched this and will speak about this, those protesting in India face a dictatorial slamming of such protests and ministers are ridiculing the protest.

Is this what we have come down to? A man who should have had the harshest punishment, convicted of rape, has been handed bail?

Is this justice? Is this common sense? Is this even humane?

One cannot stop speaking and protesting about this till the convict is brought to justice!
