@goodreads I just can't outside this year. The ticks are too much. But I get what you're saying. I have a reading hammock in a grove just for this and a porch swing as well for this when it rains. Just ... ticks win out. Books and Bed = best combo.
Some random chick likes Christian Bale as batman and it becomes a trend. I like Christian Bale as a human and in general and it's NBD. It's weird how socially we hold this strange heirarchy that one person's opinions are more important that others. It's such bullsh*t and gross.
@Autistic_Lauren About 60% accurate - sometimes I have a weird almost "psychic" way of knowing what a person means. The other 40% is absolute cluelessness.
@Autistic_Lauren Yes - the vestibular system is part of my sensory issues. I have to "learn" to ride a bike every time I get on one. It's pretty easy to pick up after a bit of trying, but I just have to relearn it all the time.
@Autistic_Lauren Usually when I tell someone, they say, "thanks for telling me". All the jerk responses elminitanted themselves from my life.
Hey, can you ask what ppl do to cope with a meltdown at work? I was recently in the rumble phase and had to take the day off. Is this normal?
I have developed a phobia of ticks and my best friend, independently from me, devolped one as well. And this is why we're best friends. I know ticks aren't popular or anything, but our distress is extreme. #billgatesconspiracy
@Autistic_Lauren I remember some as a kid but the one that really showed people I was autistic for real and not just really into ponys or carebears was my obsession with The Beatles. : )
When working for Dolce & Gabbana, I was in an Ulta Beauty store one day. There was a Rob Pattinson poster for Dior there. I got some glittery makeup from the demo makeup nearby and made him sparkly. One of my best memories from that job.
