#Yes5AB in #DCSD. We are organizing the #DougCo community in support of a Bond & Mill Levy Override (5A & 5B) on the Nov '18 ballot to benefit our #schools.
We are *FINALLY* pleased to announce that Douglas County voters have approved both funding measures, 5A-Mill Levy Override and 5B-Bond!
An official statement from the Douglas County Clerk is expected sometime tomorrow, November 9th.
To ALL the volunteers - THANK YOU!!
We're still celebrating the win for kids in DCSD !! BUT it might be time to clean your painted windows. Removal Tips: You'll need hand sanitizer, rubbing alcohol (or denatured alcohol) and some elbow grease! A rag, paper towel, scrubby sponge or paint scraper will help too.
Thank you Maggie, Peter, Jake and all of @BrightFuturesDC leaders and volunteers for your tireless dedication, leadership and service to our community, teachers, students and DCSD families. We are forever grateful!
#Jeffco, we have been humbled by how many of you turned out to volunteer to cure votes. We have spoken to all of our folks three times so we are cancelling all shifts for Monday 11/12 and Tuesday 11/13. Clerk open on Tuesday so TBD whether we need help on Wednesday. #WeAreJeffco
5B up 1,286 votes after @JeffCoClerk update-BUT we have not seen @COSecofState to include Broomfield AND remember overseas and military ballots due Nov. 14th days away from official results. Ballot curing continues so help if you can at https://t.co/Cvl9u0ZYYQ #BallotWatch2018
Actual pictures showing the reason counties still have untallied ballots (in addition to write-in candidates like Mickey Mouse and John Elway, says the Dougco clerk).

The campaign just received the following from the Douglas County Elections Office:

@9NEWS@dcsdk12 is also awaiting final results. @douglascountyco Clerk is telling us we may get results tomorrow. Our volunteer observers were told to watch an explainer video & read FAQs on @COSecofState site.
UPDATE: The Douglas County Clerk's Office told the campaign today at approximately 5:30 p.m. that the Clerk's Office will have a ballot update by the end of the day tomorrow, Nov 8. We plan on continuing to watch the ballot processing tomorrow. #Patience
Not-really-an-update Update: Campaign volunteers are monitoring results & are in contact w/ @douglascountyco Clerk. Questions about the process or delay? Contact elections office 303 660-7444 or [email protected]. We're just as anxious as you are to get news. Hang tight!
UPDATE ON 5A and 5B:
The most recent tally still shows that 5A is ahead with 52.7% of the vote and 5B is ahead with 51.3% of the vote. So far, 149,000+ ballots have been counted but there may be 15,000-30,000 more still being processed by the Douglas County Elections Office.
While we wait....
Thought you would be interested to know these little stats from the campaign:
⭐️ Almost 28,000 doors were knocked/lit dropped
⭐️ Almost 20,000 landlines called
⭐️ Just under 30,000 cell phone numbers texted
THANK YOU, volunteers!
The #Yes5AB campaign has "watchers" at the #DougCo County Clerk's office right now as 15,000+ ballots are counted. We should know more...soon.
