For example when someone has a hard time understanding a transperson's perspective they can be put in a simulation where they are harassed and told they are not the gender they identify as.
@ksmithLearning @TadeanP#EDU6323 This is amazing and the idea can be applied to many situations when people are having a hard time understanding others perspectives.

I'm excited for the world of VR and AR. I see huge potential for student engagement. I know my brother is always excited to do any activity that includes VR. I can't tell you how much I've spent on VR sessions at the local arcade.
@Elissa_C1 This is great and I think it would be a good ice breaker. Introduce yourself and discuss how you plan to avoid saying I don't know or I can't.

A really random point that hit me hard was in the screening section of his presentation. He briefly mentioned augmented reality. I think the learning opportunities. Check out this twitter feed https://t.co/scHMkbFMfv and this site https://t.co/JRcHqVzNwa
@Elissa_C1 @MeganP72747120#EDU6323 This is really exciting to me. Imagine having a virtual Van Gogh maybe explain cultural context for the time frame of his art then narrate his letters or journals from that time. It would make him more real to students. I think they wouldn't forget it for a while.

I thought about this the other day and I think authors should include citations for their work at the end of the articles (APA MLA and Chicago version available). It makes it easier for people to cite them and it ensures their information gets put out there more often.
@john_krewson@TadeanP#EDU6323 I haven't gotten any calls or at least they haven't left an emails. But let me tell you the targeted advertisements are everywhere on my face book feeds and ads on sites. I even still see ads for NEU.
#EDU6323 This article, https://t.co/sNhV8mrtRa though not of the most reliable source brings up a good point, on autoplay how long does it take to get from the initial topic to a radical video or one of an inappropriate topic for students.
@ElizabethGruhl#EDU6323 I too have gotten lost in YouTube rabbit holes. The problem with just random YouTube videos is that it can take students into biased or radical content. I think the information presented to students should definitely be on curated lists...
