Just read “Investigating Memory” about Operation Spring by @AlexFitzBlack. A fascinating article. I spent the last 18 months on other eras of 🇨🇦 history. And this was a great way to get back into SWW historiography. @studyofcanada

@AlexFitzBlack @studyofcanada Well Alex, good scholarship ages nicely. 😀👊🏻 I came to it after a recent research visit to @rcmiHQ. I’m working on the early history of RMC and the 🇨🇦 militia. One thing led to another and, voila, I’m diving into Black Watch, where I spent some time as a McGill undergrad.
