HOW CLOSE ARE WE TO A SUCCESSFUL QUANTUM COMPUTER ATTACK ON BITCOIN ?
We have had a couple of proof-of- concept milestones from 2025 till date showcasing that elliptic curve cryptography (ECC) can be successfully attacked with quantum computers.
This is a valid threat on the horizon and every blockchain that runs on the ECC is susceptible to this quantum threat.
How big is this threat now?
Steve Tippeconnic in 2025 publicly demonstrated an attack on 6-bit hardware using a public address to generate its private keys.
You might argue that a 6-bit key requires only 64 combinations to decode. The math is simple and easy, right? The task even required 133 qubits.
Well, fast forward to 2026, another egghead, Giancarlo Lelli, demonstrated another quantum attack on a 15-bit key.
This time, the math was much harder because a 15-bit key would require 32,768 combinations. Which meant that the scale of difficulty was 512X the previous one.
Should we be scared?
Despite these amazing leaps in quantum computing, the capacity of quantum attacks is being exaggerated at present, so let's really examine the facts.
Bitcoin uses 256-bit keys. Breaking a 15-bit key is no where near 256-bit keys which would require roughly 10⁷⁷ combinations.
Do you know how big 10⁷⁷ is? This is roughly the number of atoms in the observable universe. Imagine looking for a particular atom and randomly selecting it on your first try. Yeah! that's how big the number is and the 32,768 combinations of the last attack is like a drop in the ocean compared 10⁷⁷ required combinations for Bitcoin.
To be able to attack Bitcoin's cryptography successfully using Shor's algorithm or a variant, a quantum computer with thousands or millions of qubits would be needed. The qubits would have to run for hours or days without errors—this is a far stretch now, though Google recently claimed 500,000 qubits could do the job in 9 mins. Caltech further reduced the figure to 26,000 physical qubits.
The gap might still be humongous— however, no threat is irrelevant. Roughly 6.9 million Bitcoins are prone to this attack because there public addresses are visible on-chain. So, all hands must be on deck to move to figure out measures that would make blockchains quantum attack resistant.

If I talk now SMC traders will come for my head, now see what I'm talking about 🤦🤦🤦
✅I saw break of structure
✅ Liquidity
✅Fair value gap.
Can someone tell me why this SMC. setup fail 🥹🥹🥹💔💔
Beauty Is Subjective, Indeed.
The Mangbetu people were known for their distinctive look, because of the elongated shape of their heads. They achieved this by tightly wrapping babies' heads with cloth soon after birth.
Ancient cultures in Peru and Australia also practiced this artificial cranial modification before it got phased out.
This Is Not Real Magic: Science Can Explain The Trick.
Have you seen a video where monks or yogis in Thailand performed this trick and thought it was real?
Obviously, no monk anywhere can withstand exposure to boiling oil without suffering serious burns or even death.
Oils have a boiling point of approximately 300°C. What happens here is that this container is prepared for this trick. It has a double shell with a space that acts as thermal insulation.
The bubbles are caused by another liquid with a very low boiling point, which gives the impression that the oil is actually boiling.

The Most Horrifying Thing I learnt About The Wild
This animal is a type of frog called a common toad. The image looks normal, right?
Well, actually no. If you look closer at its throat, you’ll see these tiny eggs that were laid there by a fly called a toad fly, which looks like the one below 👇
The fly lays its eggs at the entrance of the poor frog’s nostrils.
That’s not even the scariest part. The worst begins when the eggs hatch. The larvae start feeding on the host’s tissue: in this case, inside the frog’s nose. As their appetite increases and they grow, they begin to consume the eye, the brain, and eventually the entire frog from the inside out until they kill it.
Once fully developed, the larvae leave the dead frog and fly out into the world.
This level of torture in the wild is terrifying 😯😯

Wrong question.
Better questions would be:
1.why were they not attacked by the bandits?
2.Why were they waving at the bandits?
3.Why was there no intel on such an incursion by armed bandits
4. What was the next action by law enforcements
5. Why is the media silent
The fact that you didn't ask these questions but was bothered about what I would have done if I were in their shoes already substantiates my pain and concern
