thank you. race is quite literally, by definition, a social construct based on phenotype. you will never truly experience being black if you do not appear black. argue with your mother.
i’m definitely a homebody but not the “never leave the house” kind. i love being in my own space, doing my little routines and minding my business, but every now and then i do wanna get cute, go eat somewhere good, make a memory and come right back home after. 😂
I'm a lover girl.
I love flowers, little dates, reassurance, random gifts, being spontaneous, when he opens the door for me, deep talks, forehead kisses, being chosen, being handled gently. I just love being loved
Full transparency... I don't think l've ever experienced someone being deeply in love with me. I've been liked. I've been wanted. But I still dream about the kind of love where someone chooses me wholeheartedly every single day.
My 20s definitely taught me there's no point in doubling back on anything. No friendship, not a relationship, not a Job. Once it has ran it's course, move accordingly. It's your job to take the lesson, add it to character, and move on.
I found another beautiful scripture today 🥹
But me, I’m not giving up. I’m sticking around to see what God will do. I’m waiting on God to make things right.
