You’d need to sell a kidney to afford attending the 2026 World Cup matches
Just compare the prices of the 2022 World Cup and the 2026 World Cup.
You’ll be paying enormous amounts of money just to attend a match in hot weather, with the possibility of games being delayed due to weather warnings. And on top of that, you might buy a ticket and still not be allowed to enter the United States
Good morning,
WAKE UP!
No one is coming to rescue you.
• Not the government,
• Not your friends,
• Not luck.
The life you want is hidden behind work, sacrifice, discipline, and consistency.
Today is another opportunity to move one step closer.
Get up and go after it.
“Time will tell” is one of the realest quotes ever because time will eventually tell who put in the work, it will tell who was disciplined, it will tell who was playing the long game. Time will indeed tell.
Step into more space. Settle into more comfort.

Let’s talk about something as basic as gloves. One of the culture shocks I had in Germany is that in every patient’s room kuna 3 boxes of gloves in different sizes. Sometimes the healthcare workers will change gloves upto 5x when dealing with a single patient. Saa hiyo the most common phrase you’ll hear in KNH is “unawaste gloves/something else” and usually, the one or 2 boxes rotating in a ward are in the custody of a nurse and you have to walk around to find them or ask to get a pair. Mind you we’re not talking about a specialized medical device. Basic gloves.
But apparently we’re capable of handling another country’s epidemic.
Exactly... The way some of us enjoy that green both from above and on the ground... We will create our own local climate change.. Then we will pay for it forward.. With generations to come.. Micro and macro impact...
Sections of Uhuru Park will be hived off to "expand Uhuru Highway".
Parts of Karura Forest will be hived off "to plant tree seedlings and build rangers' accommodation units".
Parts of Nairobi National Park will be hived off "to construct parking yards for the new Bomas International Convention Centre".
Sections of Ngong Forest are being cut down for "the construction of the Ngong-Riruta rail line and an international resort and casino".
Practically every green and gazetted area within the Nairobi Metropolitan area is being targeted.
And this is place where scrutiny is highest.
Can you imagine what is happening in gazetted areas in the Rift Valley.
When pastoralists are in power, every green space is either pasture for "wega ngombe wagule yiote" or merely something to degazette, cut down and build some ugly concrete structure.
Scarcity mentality at birth.
Sam Chui's latest piece on his visit to Juba South Sudan. Very interesting to see Aeroplanes charted by the UN for WFP including Kenyan registered birds

I was arrested this morning together with fellow patriotic Kenyans during our procession to present a petition to the Kenya Wildlife Services against the excision of part of the Nairobi National Park to construct a 1300-car parking lot.
Our national heritage and environment must be safeguarded from greed and unnecessary destruction without public participation.
For years, East African aviation has been a Nairobi story.
Not anymore.
New data shows Tanzania now records more daily flights than Kenya, with 281 departures spread across five airports.
That wasn’t supposed to happen.
So how did a country long viewed as playing catch-up quietly build one of the continent’s most extensive aviation networks, and what does it tell us about where trade, tourism and investment in East Africa are headed?
Our latest analysis explores the shift.

Luck flows through people and travels by conversation. The people you talk to determine the opportunities you find.
Keep talking to the same people, keep finding the same opportunities. Start talking to new people, start finding new opportunities.
If you want different luck, start walking into different rooms."

The worst thing about this economic shock is that growth is slowing while inflation is rising. The Central Bank is stuck between the devil and the deep blue sea.
