Things I have been reflecting on from our wedding: Lastly, I have a whole HUSBAND now! 2 years of planning and we finally had the most special day of our lives so far. It was so fun watching our friends and family from all walks of life come together to celebrate our love ☺️❤️
Things I have been reflecting on from our wedding: We did not have a wedding planner/coordinator (an expense we couldn’t afford) so, it’s a miracle things went as smoothly as they did 😅 We are SO grateful for our friends and family who worked tirelessly to create our dream!
Things I have been reflecting on from our wedding: Not everything went as planned, & that’s OK. As a perfectionist, I had to remind myself multiple times that no one else’s opinion of our wedding really mattered at the end of the day. Ultimately it was still all we dreamed of 💕
How I know I’m an introvert: it’s the morning of my bridal shower and I woke up at 5:00 AM with a panicky, sick to my stomach feeling because I started thinking about everyone looking at me for two whole hours. 😳😳😳
Planning events as a perfectionist is the worst. I can’t help but dwell on every tiny detail that in the grand scheme of things doesn’t even matter to anyone but me. Logically I know no one else cares, but I torture myself trying to make everything flawless 😩
I am SO excited to marry Joshua.. but wedding planning is NOT my strong suit. I hate making all these decisions and thinking about being the center of attention for an entire day 😅
I will never be able to wrap my head around how unnecessarily expensive weddings are. Like I just wanna marry my best friend why does everything have to cost a million dollars
Each year we take the same picture in the same place. This year on the right, last year on the left. I struggle with seeing the changes in my body even though I know the amount of weight I’ve lost. It feels good to see the comparison of 12 months difference.
TBH my career/life after graduation has not turned out even close to the way I imagined. But, I’m learning to be content with not always knowing what comes next. This is stressful for me as an inherently anxious person. I know I have a purpose, I just wish I knew what it was 🙃
