I love the feeling of staying up too late to finish reading a book. Better to snooze the alarm a few extra minutes in the morning than to try to fitfully sleep wondering how it ends.
One of my favorite things to see at church is a dad holding his baby in one arm, and his other hand raised in worship. A beautiful picture of joy and humility. I learn so much from other believers by simply being near them.
Walked into my classroom this morning to my boss pacing back and forth.
She told me she was praying. Apparently she comes early every morning to pray over each classroom.
Quietly. I had no clue.

Adulthood is showing up to your parents’ house unexpected, and your dad greeting you outside before you’ve barely stepped away from the car. It’s dad smiling big and asking “what the hell are you doing here?!” before pulling you in for a big hug.
Today I helped my mom shop for face wash she saw on Tik Tok. She screenshot it to remember the name. It was Cerave.
I just think it’s so cute because it’s her and Tik Tok and the most ordinary face wash ever. She just 🥺
You know how cool it felt when you started driving in high school? That feeling hit me again when I left for the first time in a week to go to the post office. Strange times.
