Long story short, I’ll never fly @United again so long as I can help it. This pic is from our @AlaskaAir flight last week - thanks to them for actually helping new parents. (Note, another dad alone w kid in middle row next to us too on #unitedairlines flight)

The @united flight attendant shortly came to our seats to offer me to move to an aisle in back of plane but kind woman said we’d already switched & it was ok. At this point, more and more tears on my end.

I’ve never been embarrassed for #breastfeeding in public, but this felt humiliating. The woman in row in front of us, who paid extra for “@united premium” turns & asks if I wanted to switch seats so I can have some privacy. Crying, I nodded yes gratefully.

Sitting in the middle aisle while everyone boards. Baby is SCREAMING and I need to nurse her. So, sitting between two professional looking men, I breastfed in the middle seat, front and center for EVERYONE boarding (row 10 = everyone must pass us) @united

Check my ticket for our #SFO to #SEA flight and guess what! 👏🏻another 👏🏻middle👏🏻seat.👏🏻 ask gate agent for window/aisle she gives me a big 🤷🏻‍♀️ and “not much she can do but will try”. @united

In case @united doesn’t check their #Instagram... on our flight from #ATX TO #SFO, me + lap infant were given a middle seat. Not ideal, had to nurse between two men. But, we made it and I made a note to check my seat assignment for next flight...
