57 months ago, I was living my dream working as a fashion designer in NYC.
56 months ago, my dad passed away 20 days after being diagnosed with cancer, and my first nephew was born 11 weeks early. My dad's funeral was on my nephew's original due date. 1/6
@leadoeslinkedin Messages that are so copy & paste you can tell they didn’t actually read your profile or research your business. Also I’m less inclined to accept connections of people I don’t know or who don’t have many connections in common.
@AmberCadabra Sending so much love. I am just coming to 7 years and this heavy fog lifted about a month ago. Can’t even put into words how it felt. Like I was doing some of the motions of life but I wasn’t fully there? It’s wild.
@emilyryantweets Just because they unsubscribe doesn’t mean they’re not still in your audience somewhere. There’s a company I love their emails, but I dont listen to the content on their podcast. There are some companies I follow closely on social so I don’t also want the emails.
@estefaniammitre I’m so sorry for your loss. I was 29 and am now 36 and just came out of the fog. I’m sending you much love and warmth as you navigate the grief. ❤️
@AmandaMGoetz Having an unhelpful partner (so many women I know are unhappy and feel like single parents) and having a kid in a society where it’s stacked against women.
@heyalexfriedman I’m so sorry for all who loved her and the baby who won’t get to know her light from first hand experience. Pancreatic cancer is brutal.
@inb4denn Chat GPT except it takes your resume and fills in the online version we still neee to fill out in 2023. It puts all of the right info in the correct box, too.
@emilyryantweets Yesssss! In very close second is branding of some sort. I can’t do the emails that are just text and just have the persons name and not their business. Unless I follow you everywhere and you out yourself everywhere, I don’t remember you but even just 1 brand element would help.
@PriceAvocado@Thefrugalgay11 I also think people pleasing is enforced as “good behavior” as kids in many settings including school. I’ve been thinking a lot about it needs to be counterbalanced
