first time working on an @EffectTS_ codebase and i already fell in love
i don't know if it's the guardrails or the spell it cast on the model, but i'm oneshotting stuff like never before
@dillon_mulroy I just wanted to watch your stream on my TV, but ever since you changed your Twitch username, it doesnโt work when I try to join your livestream
Today weโre releasing DeepSWE, a new standard for agentic coding benchmarks.
On public leaderboards, top models often look relatively close in capability. DeepSWE shows where they actually diverge, reflecting the realistic experience of developers in their day-to-day work.
https://t.co/c6EwZCxeFS is an incredible way to accelerate your AI psychosis
the customization is so good you can spend 14 hours optimizing your prompting harness instead of doing actual work
feels amazing tbh
if you're scared you might be affected by this "Mini Shai Halud"
I made a quick song thats lists all the packages that were affected, so you can keep working and just listen for any packages you use.

With agents writing code Iโve become more bullish than ever on Effect and the problems it solves
If youโre not using it, Iโm curious on why and what youโre using instead to solve the same challenges - interested to see what the ecosystem looks like
imo this is totally Github's C-level fault, they had time to prepare the platform for the LLM era, but showed a lack of vision
if, back in the GPT-3 days, they had understood the potential growth of new apps coming to GitHub, they could have done that reliability work earlier. doing it now is a much, much harder job
and according to the Github's blog post, theyโre migrating parts of the code from Ruby to Go, adding more slop instead of making the current code reliable
what could be a peak for GitHub might end up being a death sentence
Ghostty is leaving GitHub. I'm GitHub user 1299, joined Feb 2008. I've visited GitHub almost every single day for over 18 years. It's never been a question for me where I'd put my projects: always GitHub. I'm super sad to say this, but its time to go. https://t.co/DQDemHdytV
