@char_broughton Serious question here. How can you in one tweet boast about taking caffeine gels to keep you awake while driving when the tweet before it is about a cyclist being killed by a driver not having their attention on the road? Driving tired is as dangerous as drink driving.
@Jack_R_Thomas @cyclingweekly@BritishCycling @taogeoghegan This is a thread about a team collapsing due to a sponsor pulling out because of losses sustained recently in block chain investments. Tao’s thread doesn’t address anything, you can’t blame British cycling because the cost of events has risen, or because shops shelves are bare.
So according to government guidance you can have 15 at a wedding, 30 at a funeral and now apparently 80 at a secret British cycling national champs indoors in the velodrome with people from all ends of the country.
@johnb_really@mralibongo@danroan Keeping a secret just proves they know it’s unethical. The arrogance shown is unbelievable, it’s amazing how @gmpolice have to disband parties and gatherings but British cycling are pushing ahead and have over 100 people in a close contact flouting any rules
@LukeVernon Dublin-Holyhead £260-£330 depending on times, then English Channel is £170 for Dover Calais or £210 for the train. Going Ireland France is around £900 depending which crossing you take.
@Cabinboy131@LukeVernon Obviously not read this then. Will be putting a lot of U.K. operators out of business because they got none or very few permits. No permit means you can’t go to Europe. https://t.co/ZNKBhzppZS
@mralibongo @PHE_NorthWest @BritishCycling There’s no logic to it what so ever, another person spouting pure BS scaremongering with no scientific evidence what so ever.
