Every book I write teaches me something or enhances an existing process. My upcoming book enhanced my outline process.

I focus on moments. Each dot on my outline is a sentence reflecting a scene or a cluster of scenes. Focusing on completing a moment means I get directly into writing, rather than worrying about planning every single sentence.

As of March, I’ll be at four books published and a comic-book. I set a goal for myself that I needed to average one new piece of media every year. If you count that I’ve gotten two audiobooks (with two more on the way) & a special edition / re-cover of my first book, I’ve exceeded what I set out to do.
