with all the fake narratives going around and the way these so-called influencers are willing to throw their morals out the window just to amplify disinformation, mapapatanong ka nalang talaga what the political climate will look like come the next elections.

ang alarming pa dito is seeing how some people can become so rabid over a reality show that they resort to uttering the most vile prayers against women they despise, as though they're praying to a demon rather than to the god they claim to worship. sobrang na-consume na ng hatred that they would rather set aside the pressing issues confronting this country just to direct their anger at women who have done nothing evil to warrant such cruelty.

atp, it's downright horrifying because this is actually the kind of environment in which dangerous propaganda thrives. when people become so emotionally invested in their own fanaticism that they would rather abandon reason, critical thinking, and even the very principles they claim to uphold, it becomes increasingly easy for those with malicious intentions to manipulate them. like all it takes is a narrative that feeds their anger, an influencer willing to package it as truth, and an audience too consumed by hatred that they won't question anymore what they're being fed.

seriously some of y'all really need to take a step back and examine how much media you're consuming and how it's shaping the way you think. kasi anong silbi ng prinsipyong meron ka if you're willing to throw them away the moment your fanaticism is challenged?

pero at some point i am considering din naman the possibility if these people ever really have principles and convictions to begin with or were they just borrowing the language of morality and social awareness whenever it suited them? because if their sense of right and wrong can be so easily overridden by their personal biases, then maybe they never stood for anything beyond what they happened to like in the first place. lol hirap itulog nyan siguro.
