@hglasser hi! Yes I don't really use my Twitter account that well. School pd started today and kids come the 8th. How are you!?

[Brittany O'Brien @Britt_OB]

@mr_pata I'm pretty positive I'll be there :)

[Brittany O'Brien @Britt_OB]

@jmkilpel @DeHaanPhysics no reunion :( then we will just have to plan another one!

[Brittany O'Brien @Britt_OB]

Choosing models to explain phenomena is a common practice for scientists and should be for students/future scientists as well! #mimodphys14

[Brittany O'Brien @Britt_OB]

@DeHaanPhysics @AndreaUrdaThomp got it!

[Brittany O'Brien @Britt_OB]

@AndreaUrdaThomp beach volleyball sounds awesome!!!

[Brittany O'Brien @Britt_OB]

@AndreaUrdaThomp I did! Did you?? How's the unit 6 blogging going?

[Brittany O'Brien @Britt_OB]

Multiple representations helps students move easily from words to equations making physics accessible to all ss #VanHeuvelen #mimodphys14

[Brittany O'Brien @Britt_OB]

@toekneejarvis that looks good, bring some in for everyone mañana? #imhungry

[Brittany O'Brien @Britt_OB]

"...understanding work requires a working understanding of energy and systems" a short and sweet summary #swackhammer #mimodphys14

[Brittany O'Brien @Britt_OB]

Potential energy to some could be thought of as only potentially energy...once again language causing confusion #swackhammer #mimodphys14

[Brittany O'Brien @Britt_OB]

@mr_pata definitely! I was thinking not a theme of the article, but definitely an important part of modeling!

[Brittany O'Brien @Britt_OB]

"The instructor must be prepared to allow them to fail" not a theme of Modeling Instruction, but a quote that resonated with me #mimodphys14

[Brittany O'Brien @Britt_OB]

"They naively believe that a scientific name provides a reason" ss think gravity is why things fall, are someteachers naive too #mimodphys14

[Brittany O'Brien @Britt_OB]

"it is important for teachers to understand that student difficulties are not reflections of "stupidity"" #arons #mimodphys14

[Brittany O'Brien @Britt_OB]

Practicing Socratic discussion at Stella's (best burger in America!!) @DeHaanPhysics @sprague_k_e @jmkilpel #mimodphys14

[Brittany O'Brien @Britt_OB]

@TjapkesScience @mr_pata just looking for some extra brownie points since I did not finish my blog...

[Brittany O'Brien @Britt_OB]

@mr_pata so you are him!

[Brittany O'Brien @Britt_OB]

How do we know that Malcolm Wells isn't an alias for Don Pata? @mr_pata #mimodphys14

[Brittany O'Brien @Britt_OB]

Could addressing the misconception of what physics IS be just as hard or harder than addressing content misconceptions? #hammer #mimodphys14
