Thankfully after a decade on stage, I can handle it when it happens to Delta Rae, we are pretty cocooned in our presence and deeply listening to one another, but when it happens to our openers or when I witness it for other performers...
If you’re at a concert & talking loudly during a quiet song, we can hear you over ourselves. Artists can see you from stage, can see you if you gesture meanly, and hear rude comments too. I appreciate ppl who buy tickets to see live music, but if you’re rude, please stay home.
@kirmeleon Amen! ❤️ It especially counts for opening acts. Come later & avoid having to hear music that night not be to your taste or respect the headliner by closing your mouth and opening you heart to their guest. All of our openers are our dear friends and if you hurt them, you hurt us.
