I am so excited to share some good news! Today I start my new position as a Mendel Science Experience Posdoctoral Fellow at Villanova working with the @Bob_Curry Curry Lab! I am beyond thrilled to take this next step and learn some new tricks when it comes to studying chickadees!

Today, I found a red-breasted nuthatch pair nesting in one of our artificial snag, intended for chickadee use! They were NOT happy to see me, but I was excited to see them!

With the help of @CBEST_nova, @VU_Biology students completed an exciting BioBlitz event during Earth Week. The group used iNaturalist to catalogue the rich biodiversity present in one of the natural areas on campus near Dundale Hall. Over 24 bird species were spotted alone!
