Measuring how marginalized and DiVeRsE I am in terms of how many awareness months apply to me.
There are so many it’s almost like I should matter year-round.
Oh wait.
There are two very large issues here:
-police brutality and police murder of black folks
-police not dealing with mental health issues properly
I’ve had the police called on me multiple times for seizures and mental health issues. Cops almost always make it worse.
The future of work is the freedom to choose where I want to work. I don't enjoy going into an office every day. A lot of people do. It's not a matter of one over the other. Build companies that accommodate different personalities, working styles, etc.

remembering that time i had a q for my prof after class, so i went up to the front where some other classmates were already talking to him. after answering my classmates q's, the prof looked at me and said "are you here from the next class? i'll be out in a minute!" 🙃 #womenincs
