The transition from a movement to a party happened because we want to harness political power and turn that support into elected leadership.

You can support Edwin Sifuna from other parties, but the political reality is that, in a democracy structured around political parties, a decision will eventually have to be made about which party you belong to.

Let’s be realistic about how politics works in Kenya. Political parties have structures, processes and party activities. You cannot expect people in Jubilee, for example, to simultaneously be part of the structures, WhatsApp forums, strategy meetings and communications of DCP simply because they are from the same region. That is not the political reality.

Those lines will become even clearer as party structures are formed and the political contest takes shape.

Linda Mwananchi Movement, party, will go to the ground to build political power and get elected officials across every level, MCAs, MPs, Women Representatives, Senators and Governors. LMM like every other party will strive to get the most representatives.

And this is why we are encouraging everyone who believes in this vision to join Linda Mwananchi Movement, led by our party leader, H.E. Edwin Sifuna.

We are building a political party that will restore constitutionalism and the rule of law, while building a productive economy, one that creates value, supports manufacturing, grows businesses and ensures Kenyans benefit from the wealth they produce.
