Today, Russian “shaheds” struck one of the universities in Kyiv – right during classes. Fortunately, the students were in the shelter – 160 students. Overnight, the Russians struck Odesa. An ordinary residential building and city infrastructure were damaged. Five people were injured, including a child. In Kherson, the Russians struck a building used by first responders and police. In the Kharkiv region, thousands of people were left without electricity after a strike, and there are injuries. In many regions, air raid alerts continue because of the threat of jet-powered drones and aerial bombs.

Unfortunately, there has been far too little response from the world and its most influential leaders to this latest Russian escalation of strikes. When Russian-Iranian “shaheds” are waging this kind of round-the-clock terror in Europe, it cannot remain a problem for our country alone. Every such strike against Ukrainians, every such use of “shaheds” and other weapons against our cities and villages is effectively Russia practicing tactics that it is preparing for other countries and other peoples as well. Now is the time to act. Evil must be stopped the moment it rears its head. Absolutely clear and decisive steps are needed to pressure Russia for this and to help Ukraine. Every partner knows what is needed: air defense for Ukraine, sanctions against Russia, and a significant increase in defense production. I thank everyone who is truly helping!

It was from Russia that the first missiles and the first drones came, and they crossed our country’s border from Russian airspace. This escalation cannot and will not remain confined to Ukrainian territory.

Today, we want to warn every airline that uses Russian airspace, every insurer, and everyone who still uses Russia’s key airports: Russian airspace is becoming completely unsafe. Ukraine does not threaten civilian aviation as such – not a single civilian aircraft. There will simply be drones in Russia’s skies on a scale that has to be taken into account. Although the Russian authorities are not properly informing people about this, Russian airspace will effectively be closing – the war started by Russia is closing its skies.

We in Ukraine do not want innocent lives to be lost. That is why we are warning our partners: the safe days in Russia’s skies are over. It is important that this is heard by the ambassadors of countries represented here in Ukraine, as well as by ambassadors working in Moscow. Every one of them knows exactly what Russia’s war means for our country and our people, and they must convey this information to their capitals. It is important that the airlines currently flying to airports primarily in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and other key destinations in Russia hear this as well.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and our other institutions will provide international organizations with full information about the dangers in Russian airspace. Drone-infested skies are no place for civilian aviation.

The russians left his body on the road so someone would recognize him.

His name was Ivan Bauer. He was 13 years old.

Ivan never knew his father. He was killed in a car crash when Ivan’s mother was eight months pregnant. She raised him alone, with his sister.

Ivan loved football and fishing. At school, he was known for his drawings and his love of practical work.

He woke up at 6:30 every morning — even though school was two hours away — to chop wood, feed the geese and chickens, and help his family.

When his baby sister Katya was born, Ivan carried her, bathed her, and played with her until she fell asleep.

He was the kind of boy who helped everyone.

Every day, he also visited his grandmother Nadia, who was over 80, carrying water and helping around the house.

Then russia came.

When bombs fell from the sky and his mother covered him with her body, Ivan would calmly tell her:

“Mom, don’t. If it kills me, it kills me.”

On May 6, 2022, Ivan went to the well to bring water for his grandmother.

The shrapnel tore Ivan apart.

His grandmother was killed too.

The russians took the boy’s body from the yard and left it on the road — so someone would recognize him. So children would see him and tell their parents.

His mother came for her son.

She brought him home, laid him in the garage, and spent the entire night beside his body.

The family made his coffin themselves.

They buried Ivan by making their way through gardens because the cemetery was under fire.

Today, his mother visits his grave whenever she can.

She says Ivan was her support.

“The best man in my life.”

He was just a 13-year-old boy.

He should have grown up.

Instead, russia left his body on a road in Izium.

His mother has to live with that for the rest of her life.

Hoci je pani Martonová kozmetička, tak od decembra minulého roka je predsedníčkou dozornej rady spoločnosti Energetika Slovensko, čo je jedna z najväčších firiem s podielom štátu na Slovensku. Do funkcie sa dostala bez výberového konania a navrhlo ju ministerstvo hospodárstva, ktoré ovláda strana Hlas.

Ja sa pýtam či je toto normálne. Naozaj príde niekomu v poriadku, že Hlas spravil z manželky policajta, ktorý odmietol vyšetrovať Eštoka, šéfku dozornej rady štátnej firmy?
