@nytimes is this an actual change and my subscription will renew at $50/yr again next week? Or is this just a really misleading way to present “$50 for the first year, $300/yr after” so maybe I won’t tap into the “manage subscription” menu and see the real renewal price?
.@cvspharmacy your store 1058 in Queens has locks on nearly every shelf and cooler in the store (already an anti-consumer practice) but only one employee with the key so the store’s always full of people waiting 10+ minutes to have an employee come hand them each item. Do better
As annoying as simply not getting my controllers would be, I cannot stress enough how much I don’t want to be on the hook for the customs duty for importing your entire pallet of controllers
@XboxSupport what’s the right place to contact for Xbox Design Lab shipping problems? FedEx says my controllers are held up in customs, but neither Xbox nor main Microsoft support seem to know XDL even exists. I’ve called twice, been transferred multiple times, then hung up on
And now I’ve spoken directly with @FedEx who have both of my packages on record as part of a $5k shipment to “Microsoft” (no further information). What the hell is going on here @Xbox? @majornelson too because why not at this point
Startling, but fleeting: your phone waking you up by blaring out an emergency alert at 1:45am
Eerie and deeply unsettling: getting up to pee at 1:45am and hearing the emergency alert sound coming faintly from somewhere outside your apartment
Like to be clear the painful user experience isn’t an order getting delayed or even canceled, it’s repeated delays stringing the user along instead of just admitting you’ve dropped the ball and letting the user make other plans with their time and money.
@Grubhub here’s a UX problem to solve: I waited two hours for a 45 minute delivery, even requested you cancel it after your driver went to the restaurant and left without it. It was obvious then it was never coming.
I had to wait for the restaurant CLOSING to cancel the order
