Laughing out loud at the scene where Lucy mocks Dr John's gushing about Ginevra by talking about de Hamal in the same way - it feels so modern! #APStogether 23/11
@LEBassett I was at Nice airport a few years ago and saw a friendly French woman ask for soy milk in her coffee. The barista's reply: On se croit aux Etats-Unis?!
@lizziespeller The characters say "Eastern cotton" which could be a brand name. The kana look to me like they say デンパィテゴパン タ?ウルダ which is just a string of syllables. It might have been an attempt to write down another language phonetically? (the sound is denpitegopan ta?uruda)
@wizzair would like to give a shout-out to the person on non-priority check in at LGW this morning. Sorry did not get his name but slim black guy, long hair. Very efficient, calm and helpful (esp good considering total chaos everywhere else at LGW today!)
@ourfakehistory Love the episode about gryphons!! Reminded me of a theory I once read somewhere that the idea that fairy folk cannot touch iron may have come from people finding neolithic stone tools and trying to work out why you would use those instead of the normal metal ones
@YodelOnline why do you give us the option to specify which neighbour to leave the package with and then ignore it? Now I don't have my package and my neighbour waited in for nothing.
