When the Spurs beat the Knicks in the 1999 NBA Finals, they won the series in 5 games, won games 1, 2, 4 & 5 including Game 5 on the road. In this year’s NBA Finals, the Knicks beat the Spurs in 5 games, won games 1, 2, 4 & 5 including Game 5 on the road. Such a fitting payback.
