“When you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing - When you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors - When you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don’t protect you against them, but protect them against you - When you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice - You may know that your society is doomed.”
Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged
This famous passage describes Francisco d'Anconia’s famous "Money Speech," warning against the collapse of a free market into crony capitalism and state control.
Core themes of the quote.
Coercion over Freedom: Production requires state permits or official approval from bureaucrats who do not create anything themselves.
Cronyism: Wealth moves through political favors, bribery, and influence instead of honest market value and trade.
Inverted Justice: The legal system protects wrongdoers or corrupt officials from the citizens rather than protecting citizens from crime.
Moral Decay: Acting with honesty becomes a personal disadvantage or sacrifice, making the society unsustainable.
Canada is already there.

Dr. Charles Hoffe who is a family doctor from Southern British Columbia describes how he was told never to speak badly about the vaccine even though his patients were experiencing adverse reactions to them. On top of it, all of is adverse side effects reports he submitted were censored.
What went on during this time was criminal.
Pipeline Great deal!! Well not for Alberta! but BC?.... Great!
Now 🇨🇦 allowing BC to charge tolls on Alberta oil even on existing Pipeline!!
Free Alberta!!
NEW STUDY: Top 20% of Canadians NOW pay 65% of all Personal Income Taxes
and the bottom 20% pay just 0.7% of taxes!!
Together, the top 40% of income earners pay 85% of ALL income taxes......insane levels of wealth redistribution!
The image tells an important story.
B.C. relies on Alberta in two vulnerable ways: fuel supply for the Lower Mainland and access through Alberta to eastern markets.
That does not mean Alberta should be reckless. It means Alberta should stop acting powerless.
Independence gives Alberta control, leverage, and a future our grandchildren can believe in. We can do better.
It's not a "tanker ban." It's an NDP economic blockade.
Foreign ships still sail freely along B.C.'s northern coast.
The only thing being blocked is our prosperity, while doing absolutely nothing to protect the environment.
This speech from Adam Derges is one every Albertan should hear.
It’s not angry. It’s not reckless. It’s honest.
He lays out why leaving Canada is no longer about frustration. It’s about protecting our kids, our future, and the part of this country that still works.
Canada is broken. Alberta is not.

When I attended the Forever Canada rally at @RedHartBrewing, some people accused me of showing up to “cancel” the business.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
The owners treated me with respect. They welcomed me to film in their parking lot, even though we disagree politically. I appreciated that.
That said, there is a website published and widely shared to list and cancel Independence supporting businesses. This is shameful and let’s not be like that.
So here’s my response.
If you’re an Alberta independence supporter and you’re ever in Red Deer, I encourage you to stop by, enjoy their excellent craft beer, and support a local Alberta business. Their beer is great, the atmosphere is welcoming, and they treated me fairly.
If you go, wear your Alberta independence shirt or hat if you’d like. Be friendly. Be respectful. If the opportunity for a polite conversation comes up, great. If not, just enjoy your visit.
If you happen to mention that Jon From Alberta sent you, please do it with a smile.
We don’t have to agree on politics to treat each other with respect.
That’s what free speech looks like.
That’s what democracy looks like.
That’s how we take the moral high ground.

A woman hiking in Canada nearly became a grizzly’s next meal and the video circulating right now is genuinely one of the most intense wildlife encounters you will ever watch - her dog is with her, a massive grizzly is right there, and somehow she kept her head together long enough for both of them to walk away breathing.
That is not a small thing. Most people talk tough until nature is standing ten feet in front of them and every instinct in your body is screaming to run, and running is exactly the worst thing you can do.
Grizzlies are built to chase, they top out over 700 pounds and can cover ground faster than any human alive. The people who survive these moments are the ones who override pure fear with pure discipline and this woman did exactly that.
If you hike, camp, or spend any real time in the wilderness - bear spray is not optional, it is the difference between a story you tell and one somebody else tells about you.
Could you have kept your cool?
Hats off to her.

Canada:
Tax his land, tax his wage,
Tax his sufferance in old age.
Tax his health, tax his wealth,
Tax his business done by stealth.
Tax his car, tax his gas,
Tax the roads on which he pass.
Tax his food, tax his drink,
Tax him if he tries to think.
Tax his house, tax his bed,
Tax the pillow under his head.
Tax his work, tax his pay,
He works for taxes half the day.
Tax his liquor, tax his smoke,
Tax him till he’s completely broke.
If he cries, tax his tears,
Tax the comfort of his years.
Tax his coffin, tax his grave,
Tax the sod in which he's laid.
When he's gone, don't relax,
It's time to collect the estate tax.
And do not let them leave without taxing it all again.
Oh Canada!! 🇨🇦
If you earn it, they tax it
If you spend it, they tax it
If you save it, they tax it
If you invest in it, they tax it
If you build it, they tax it
If you sell it, they tax it
If you live in it, they tax it
If you drive it, they tax it
If you eat it, they tax it
If you give it away, they tax it When you die, they tax it
Then they waste it & Give it away!
