@beyoncegarden That's all well and good but if you are harassing people with the sole intention of getting some emotional reaction then that's a pretty shitty use of the 1st ammendment. People having a problem with being harassed and filmed by some autistic loser seems valid.
@GibsonCreations@Skores9q If you can't controll greed indirectly then you need to make systems that reward the opposite of that. Capitalism can be fine if you give corps less automony and punish incentives that focus on growth at all costs
@EmoChipmonk@Skores9q It's dumb tho because really companies should be incentivised to make less products. Less waste, less energy l, more efficient. But the way it works now is that volume and infinite growth is the most important think. It's such backwards thinking.
@Koi_asm@Skores9q The problem is they aren't rewarded for quality products. If there was an incentive for it, it would be more common. But you would need the right systems in place to enforce that.
@Iori_TG@Skores9q Manufacturing has changes since. Youn would probably still use cheaper plastics parts but the design and electrical components should be well built and modular. It's should not be a major task (or impossible) to repair/replace parts.
@COYS_Puckett@Skores9q Doesn't have to be government owned but there could be regulations that enforce quality standards for what I would consider to be an essential product.
@krazondei@ConquistaBrah If you find a good mma gym just make it clear you don't want real sparring. There is alot you can do without getting hit in the head
