In 2020 I was one of 7 dems that won a district that Trump won, so I held a series of listening sessions with people who voted for Trump and voted for me to understand their actions. I reread the transcripts yesterday and much of it felt like it could have been said today. THREAD
What are we even talking about here?? When I think about my kids and my family and how they will grow up, the choice is clear to me. VOTE KAMALA HARRIS!!!
October 16, 2018: Jackie Bradley Jr knocks the wind out of the Astros (and their fans) with an eighth inning grand slam that helped the Sox take game 3 of the ALCS. I was watching at a bar in Seattle and literally fell out of my chair. Bonus Castig call!
We are deeply saddened by the loss of Luis Tiant.
Anyone who met him, on or off the mound, knew he was a true force. A fixture of Fenway and Fort Myers well beyond his playing days, El Tiante was family.
We send our love to his wife, Maria, their children, and grandchildren.
“I was in shock. I felt sick inside. I was horrified … Thank goodness, a butler charges into the room. … Trump turned to me and said, “you know we’re going to have an affair, don’t you?” and Melania was approaching. … He was just a predator of women.”
If you haven’t watched this video yet, watch it before tonight’s game.
And if there are still folks out there that don’t know the story, this is why the Red Bandanna game is played.

Today, @GOPoversight was kind enough to invite two of the authors of Project 2025 - and former members of Trump's cabinet - to answer some questions.
I asked one of them about their unsubstantiated claims about diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Rep. Jasmine Crockett isn’t giving any f*cks today at the House Oversight Committee's hearing and she just left Republicans SILENCED.
I can’t stop watching this.
Marjorie Taylor Greene and House Republicans brought this chart about Trump and border crossings to our committee. So I asked to borrow it to clarify and make it more accurate. Facts matter.
Joe Castiglione's voice was a gift. It was the sound of summer pouring out of your radio. It was hot dogs and cold beer and the smell of fresh cut grass. It was as comfortable as your favorite pair of sneakers and as easy as the chair you'd sink into every night to tune in. It was interrupting that game of catch with Dad to turn up the volume because something great was happening. It was a reminder that even after the most miserable of days, a small bit of salvation came at 7:05pm.
I wish Joe nothing but the best in retirement. But, selfishly, I never want the ride to end.
