@User693092@maddiecholette Hoffman is signed through 2027. He has been erratic on many occasions this season, and has admitted this many times. Trading him could easily be win/win cause his contract is reasonable. Trading Vlady or Springer not really reasonable at all.
@videoApothecary and you don't lose your mind when record stores have avg albums for $70? and raise prices constantly when a certain band becomes popular
@Cinemamysoul@funkentechno Yes, but half of those Bergman titles would not be sold as individual titles. Maybe a couple eclipse series if not for the box set.
Criterion laid off a bunch of people a couple of years ago and I hardly think it is bringing billions with anything it does. Obviously between licenses, design, etc., it hopes to bring in enough profit to keep its lights on. Buy the Kubrick set, don't buy it, but grow up.
@jfkenney And having sets like this sell well is what provides them room to release are hide to find niche title they may lose money on. And when they don't release these every yr, poeple complain the collection is too mainstream.
@strangeharbors It's true. One day of golf at a slightly above avg course is $150. And all you want to do is forget how you played as soon as you finish.
@JohnnyNoblebody Nah, straight males lift weights cause they want more athletic men to see them as equals (they don't). Women don't give a shit if you are in gym shape or not.
@lwrcefilms I'm not talking about you. And saying a film is your fav of the yr/decade/all time is not the same as saying it is the best. Many folks on here say things are the best, with very little context, and it annoys others.
@lwrcefilms Liking something, and saying it's the best horror movie of the year/decade, etc is not the same. And on twitter it's often from folks (IMO) who don't super well versed in film history.
@Romy_Holland Not too mention timing, and the fact that life takes two people in different directions all the time, and sometimes the needs you were having fulfilled need to take a backseat for awhile, etc.
@Romy_Holland Maybe we define needs differently. I can say of the 4 LTRs I have had in my life, each one didn't fulfill a need for me as much as I would like, cause we were dif. people: sex drives different, intellectual pursuits dif., communication dif., etc. And that's the avg exp IMO.
