As a deaf person in the NHS, the updated trust covid guidance for face masks able to be removed in office spaces has made my day🥹
I can finally have chats & meetings with colleagues in office areas for the 1st time in my career & not stress about struggling to hear as much🥹
Not only did we get shortlisted for the Public award after a nomination by a patient and their family, we even won alongside Mr Singh! ⭐️
It means so much to us to hear about how far our hard work goes and means to CYP and their family! ✨

Today I presented a teaching on hearing impairments and how we can support CYP and their families whilst inpatient with us to optimise therapeutic intervention! 🦻🏻
I also added my own hearing impairment & top tips for helping HOH/deaf colleagues

Watching the @Olympics in Paris feels extra special knowing I played a very small part in fuelling @TeamGB! 🥇 We analysed their menus & made recipe recommendations to increase protein content! Now I'm cheering them on! Go #TeamGB! 💪🇬🇧#Olympics#NutritionMatters#Paris2024
We're delighted to be launching our CBIT In Hand app in Nottingham Children's Hospital. Our app helps families to get 'in hand' support after a brain injury. It provides personalised intervention & immediate tailored support.

I’ll be running the fun run next month with some of my therapy colleagues to show my support for the NUH Children’s Hospital fundraiser, a charity which I see and hear about daily at work!
Every little helps if you can donate!! 💚💚💚
