I thoroughly enjoyed "Til We Have Faces." While not a gripping pageturner, it was interesting throughout, and I felt completely unaffected by what one reviewer called its "relentless melancholy."
Now, Kreeft's guide "The Mirror, The Mask & The Masterpiece" is decidedly less fun.
@EricBaileyTW Sadly, I never covered a major sports event while studying journalism at OSU (though I did have the sports beat in a spr8ng semester reporting class), so I missed out on that hard deadline.
I'm trying to delve a little more into C.S. Lewis's work and finally gave myself a reason to try this, his final (and probably his least regarded) novel. Yes, I realize a 70-year-old book isn't necessarily a classic, but the subject matter certainly qualifies.
