@gkayye @CFBKings You call a 15 day portal window not hurting the athlete? Rosters are full. With the lack of redshirting there is no incentive for a coach to take a player scrambling. Under the new rules, coaches retain freedom and athletes begin to be penalized for the choices of others.

The Knicks rivalry was only reignited by KD & Kyrie coming to BK. Frankly, the rivalry only began when they wouldn’t allow the Nets in the ABA/NBA merger till they paid a territorial fee to NY. Let’s stop being weird and celebrate NY basketball as a whole 🤙🏽

The trade was a win for Brooklyn the day it happened. Mikal was a good player, but the Nets weren’t winning with him as their #1 option. Turning a non-All-Star into 5 firsts and a swap was exactly what a rebuilding team should do. The Knicks succeeding doesn’t change that the Nets got maximum value for an asset that wasn’t taking them anywher
