I think it’s clear at this point that these movies are just vehicles for Tom Hardy‘s wishes, so I don’t really care to know who’s directing/not. the 2nd movie just felt like a repeat of the 1st movie w/ an added marriage plotline for variety-sake, despite Serkis’ involvement
