Leary is the main reason why TTC has been run into the ground. Leary has cut back on service, stood down on maintenance, weakened security response and doesn’t get along with anyone.

Rick Leary was forced to resign as TTC boss because he was a disaster, caused a lot of labour unrest and had zero transparency.

This is a terrible decision that will have extremely negative consequences for Ottawa.

@TimTierney Does the date July 24, 2023 sound familiar? It’s the day Rick Leary caused the derailment of the Scarborough RT. The man resigned in disgrace from the TTC as he also created a hostile environment for workers and riders. He should not be anywhere near a transit system again.
