Do you have to tell someone you used Photoshop, or color correction on your film, or Blender, or a filter on the photo on your phone?
No.
What is the actual reason you need to know this information? To prevent a crime? Yeah, no. The people using AI to scam you with a clone of your mother's voice to say she is dying are not using the AI generated ID system.
So it doesn't help there.
So what is the reason? Because you deem it your right to know? For what reason?
How much of this text would you accept as AI generated? 0%? 5%? 10%? 50%? What is a meaningful threshold?
Answer, who cares, because it doesn't exist and it doesn't matter. Either the text is useful to you or not. Either the videos is useful to or it is not. Either your like a creator's content or you don't. If you don't like some content then don't consume it.
Now let's say you like a photo. It really moves you. It speaks to you. It's beautiful.
Now you find out some AI was used. Now you hate it all of a sudden? That says zero about the creator and everything a dysfunctional moral system that has nothing to do with reality and exists only in your mind.
It's like eating food that you love and then you find it someone put garlic powder in it after and you decided you hate garlic so you deny the former judgement of your senses for something nonsensical.
here we go
Into the singularity
No one knows what will happen
Thrilling and terrifying
Billions of humans led to this moment
You have never been more powerful
Use that power to do the right thing
Do not get discouraged
Do not believe the lies
Follow your inner silence above all else
> home alone, working late at night
> earth shattering pop out of nowhere
> ears ringing
> is the world ending?
> can’t find anything around me that’s different
> Ask AI
> tells me I have exploding head syndrome
> go to bed wondering about my new mental illness
> next morning see my bike tire has a massive blown out hole
> ChatGPT is a bitch
